My research ethics

13 April 2008 at 19:04 (Europe/London) in Announcements

As a member of academic community I am currently bound by LSE Research Ethics Policy. Living up to good scientific practice is not just fitting into the requirements listed in documents or ticking boxes on checklists. Guidelines can, however, provide a common ground and vocabulary for discussing the ethical standards of doing research. Especially if you are one my informants feel free to question me about the topic.

This post will be updated to reflect any changes to my commitments.

Since 1 October 2006

As Ph.d. Candidate at the London School of Economics and Political Science I am bound by LSE Research Ethics Policy. In order to provide a stable, historical reference point I have made four key documents describing the Policy available from here: LSE Research Ethics Policy, LSE research ethics checklist, LSE ethics review questionnaire for researchers and Informed consent guidance.
