The workshop is titled “The Habitat of Information: Social and Organizational Consequences of Information Growth” and its takes place as the 8th Social Study of ICT workshop (SSIT8) at LSE.
The event will offer an interesting mixture of practical and theoretical attempts to grasp the escalating growth of information that may challenge received premises of organizing.
Speakers include Albert Borgmann (University of Montana), John Gantz (IDG), Geoffrey Bowker (UC Santa Clara), Lev Manovich (UC San Diego), Elena Esposito (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia), Giovan-Francesco Lanzara (University of Bologna) and Jannis Kallinikos (LSE).
